About the Role
Based in Perth, this opportunity is ideal for an early-career lawyer looking to build strong expertise in a rapidly evolving and specialised area of law. You will gain broad exposure across property, strata and litigation matters. Prior experience in strata or community titles law is not required—what matters most is your motivation, curiosity and genuine interest in property law.
You will be part of a supportive, close-knit team led by a highly regarded practitioner in the field. The role offers the chance to work with a diverse client base, including property developers, investors, strata stakeholders and policyholders, within a practice recognised for its innovative and commercial approach.
This is a full-time role based in Perth, offering a flexible, family-friendly environment with hybrid working available after probation.
You will gain hands-on expereince across a wide range of property, strata and litigation work, inlcuding:
- Drafting and registering by-laws
- Leasing and general property law matters
- Commercial disputes, including construction, contract and property-related issues
- Debt recovery and enforcement
- Strata and community title disputes and advisory work
- Wills and estate matters, including drafting, advisory work and dispute assistance
- Drafting legal correspondence, court documents and clients advice
- Managing your own files and attending court hearings
- Briefing counsel and assisting with preparation of witness/expert evidence
- Preparing materials for interlocutory and final hearings
Skills & Experience
- 0-2 years PAE
- Exposure to property law and/or commercial litigation
- Familiarity with SAT and general State Court procedures
- Strong academic background
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and a team-focused mindset
