This role offers the opportunity to advise on complex energy transition and resources matters at the forefront of the Australian market. You will work closely with an experienced Partner and a collaborative team delivering practical, commercial advice on innovative and high-impact projects.

The Role
  • Advise on energy transition and resources projects, including decarbonisation initiatives, renewable energy developments and emerging technologies.
  • Draft and negotiate key project and commercial documentation while managing matters day-to-day with appropriate supervision.
  • Support a diverse workflow spanning regulatory advice, technology trials, development projects and broader mining and oil and gas matters.
About You
  • You will ideally have at least five years’ post-admission experience in a projects or commercial team within an Australian or international law firm.
  • You bring well-developed drafting and negotiation skills, with experience in regulated markets and an interest in energy transition or broader energy matters.
  • You are a collaborative Senior Associate who enjoys mentoring others, building trusted client relationships and expanding your expertise across new industries and technologies.
