We are seeking an experienced front end construction lawyer who is ready to join a market leading Brisbane Construction team.
This role will see you working closely with two front-end specialist partners contributing on a diverse range of matters — including some of the largest and most complex construction and infrastructure projects in Australia. The team acts for a wide range of public and private clients across the transport, energy (generation, transmission and storage), oil and gas, water, social infrastructure and commercial development sectors.
This role will cover a variety of front-end construction law activities, including assisting clients with the procurement process, preparing, reviewing, negotiating and advising on the full spectrum of construction contracts, and advising on legal and regulatory issues relating to construction projects.
You will have:
- 6+ years PAE with a minimum of 6 -12 months experience as a Senior Associate;
- specific experience advising project owners or contractors on the development of major construction and infrastructure projects;
- strong academic ability and drafting skills; and
- a desire to work within a dynamic, supportive and fast-paced team environment on complex construction and infrastructure projects.
