This role will see you either handling or coordinating a number of key functions of the firm.
HR and Management:
- maintain office policies and procedure
- generate financial reports for director
- manage office supplies and vendor relationships
- plan and schedule meetings as required
- manage and maintain employee leave entitlements
- manage and maintain firm insurance policies
- prepare and assist in training new employees
- update firm website and social media accounts
- organise business travel
- organise and coordinate events including venue hire, catering and RSVP’s
- maintain staff memberships, subscriptions, renewals and payments
Learning and Development:
- manage up to date practicing certificates for practitioners
- register practitioners for CPD events and maintaining up to date records of CPD requirements
- maintain firm CPD accreditation and upload practitioner CPD points to the Legal Practice Board LMS
Secretarial/Administrative:
- answer and direct all incoming phone calls
- create and maintain electronic client files
- data entry and file management
- extensive email and diary management
- reception duties including greeting clients
- prepare agendas and taking minutes
Accounts (not essential but preferrable):
- accounts payable and receivable
- monthly invoicing
- assist in payroll, BAS and IAS payments
Candidates must have at least 5 years’ experience in a legal administrative role. Also, interested to hear candidates that are looking for a challenge and to take the next step in the career.
