An opportunity has arisen for a Legal Assistant to support a busy legal team across a broad range of client matters and administrative responsibilities. This role offers hands-on involvement in legal processes, client relationship management, document preparation, and file management within a collaborative professional environment.

The Role
  • Support solicitors with the progression of legal matters, including legal research, due diligence, document preparation, court brief compilation, and drafting legal correspondence under supervision.
  • Manage client interactions and administrative processes, including organising meetings and events, preparing client retainer documentation, billing support, file management, and document control.
  • Undertake legal support tasks such as searches, disclosure document management, court attendance for document inspection and copying, and maintaining document formatting and compliance standards.


About You

  • You will ideally have strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships and provide a high standard of client service across diverse client groups.
  • You will possess excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing priorities while meeting deadlines in a busy environment.
  • You will be comfortable using legal technology and databases, with well-developed research, analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking capabilities.
