We have an exciting new opportunity for an experienced Lawyer or Associate to join the Banking & Financial Services team at a highly regarded national firm in Brisbane to practice in funds management, financial services and corporate transactions.
This team has expertise in advising on investment and property funds, financial services compliance, mergers and acquisitions and other corporate transactions, and superannuation.
In this role, you will be assisting with the establishment and operation of funds and fund-related transactions across all asset classes, including fund restructures, mergers and closures, advising on Australian financial services licensing requirements, including assisting with licensing applications and variations, preparing and reviewing disclosure documents including product disclosure statements and information memoranda, reviewing fund-related commercial agreements and advising on arrangements with service providers and working on mergers and acquisitions and other corporate transactions.
You will have:
- between 2-4 years PAE
- experience in funds management and/or financial services law
- excellent technical, analytical and drafting skills with keen attention to detail;
- a strong commitment to client service and the ability to manage client relationships;
- a focus on achieving commercial solutions for our clients;
- a willingness and ability to mentor and supervise junior members of the team; and
- initiative and the ability to organise and prioritise effectively.
