Introduction
Join a respected corporate commercial team advising First Nations organisations, businesses and not-for-profit clients on a diverse range of legal matters. This is an excellent opportunity for a lawyer with approximately 2 years' post-admission experience to develop their career while contributing to the advancement of First Nations communities.

About the Firm
Our client is a large independent law firm, known for its collaborative culture, commitment to professional excellence and strong connection to the local community.

The Role
  • Advise clients on governance, compliance, corporate structuring, charity law, commercial contracting and transactional matters.
  • Draft, negotiate and review a broad range of commercial agreements, while assisting with constitutions, trust deeds, policies and directors' duties matters.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to First Nations organisations and businesses, prescribed bodies corporate, community-controlled organisations, trusts, companies and government bodies.


About You

  • You will ideally have a minimum of 2 years' post-admission experience in front-end corporate and commercial law.
  • You will bring strong communication, organisation and time management skills, together with a commitment to high-quality legal work and attention to detail.
  • You will have a collaborative approach, a desire to learn, and a genuine interest in supporting the advancement of First Nations communities and their organisations.
