An opportunity has arisen for a Construction Lawyer with 4+ years’ experience to join a well-regarded specialist practice in Brisbane. This role offers exposure to high-quality front-end and back-end matters with direct partner access and genuine responsibility.

This specialist commercial law firm is recognised for its expertise in construction, infrastructure and complex projects, advising a diverse client base on strategic, partner-led matters.

The Role
  • Advising on a broad mix of front-end and back-end construction matters, including contract drafting and negotiation across Australian Standard contracts, bespoke, Egineering, Procurement, Construction and Design and Construction arrangements.
  • Providing guidance on project risk, procurement and delivery strategies throughout the project lifecycle
  • Managing dispute resolution processes including adjudications, mediations and litigation


About You

  • You will ideally have 4+ years’ post-admission experience in construction, projects or infrastructure law
  • You will bring strong drafting, analytical skills and a commercial, client-focused approach
  • You will be comfortable working both autonomously and collaboratively across complex matters
