An excellent opportunity has arisen for an accountant with 2 years or more of public practice experience to join a growing tax and business advisory team. The Role
- Prepare tax compliance work for a varied client portfolio, including income tax returns, financial statements, BAS and FBT obligations, while supporting broader financial reporting requirements.
- Partner with Managers and Directors to deliver proactive tax and business advisory services, research technical matters, prepare written advice and contribute to financial modelling, budgeting and cash flow planning.
- Build strong client and stakeholder relationships through direct client interaction, collaboration with referral partners and coordination with offshore team members on compliance and advisory projects.
About You
- You will ideally have 2 years or more of experience in tax compliance and Australian public practice, with exposure to a range of taxation matters.
- You will be degree qualified and either studying towards or already holding a CA or CPA qualification, with strong technical tax knowledge and well-developed communication skills.
- You will be motivated to build a long-term career in Tax and Business Advisory, enjoy working collaboratively and bring strong attention to detail, including advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
