Overview
A well-established and fast-growing commercial law firm in Perth is seeking a full-time Senior Conveyancer to join its highly regarded property team. This is a standout opportunity to work alongside a talented group of legal professionals, supporting major property developers and investment funds across both residential and commercial sectors.
Your Role
As a key member of the property practice group, you'll play a pivotal role in managing subdivision and settlement processes. You'll collaborate with lawyers to prepare and execute conveyancing transactions, while also taking ownership of files and driving then through to successful settlement.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Drafting, reviewing and amending subdivision and settlement documentation
- Preparing and lodging Landgate documents (paper and PEXA)
- Submitting documentation to ReveueWA
- Coordinating residential and commercial property settlements
- Supporting legal professionals with land subdivisions and amalgamations, off-the-plan strata schemes and staged settlements and registration of leases, mortgages, covenants and easements
- Liaising with clients and service providers throughout the conveyancing process
- Provide guidance and instructions to administrative staff
About you
You're a confident and capable conveyancer with a strong foundation in property transactions and desire to lead. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and bring a proactive, solutions-focused mindset to your work.
Key attributes include:
- Proven experience in conveyancing, ideally in a senior or leadership capacity
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Strong written communication and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Setts Plus, Revenue Online and PEXA
