An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Associate to join a leading Employment and Industrial Relations  practice based in Perth. This role offers the chance to work on complex, high-profile matters across a diverse client base, including major national and international organisations.

About the Role

As a key member of a high-performing, collaborative, and supportive team, you will:

  • Advise on a broad range of employment law and industrial relations matters

  • Work closely with highly regarded Partners and senior lawyers on complex and strategic matters

  • Provide legal counsel on workforce strategy, enterprise bargaining, industrial disputes, regulatory compliance, and safety matters

  • Act on employment aspects of large-scale transactions and projects

  • Engage with regulators and represent clients in Fair Work Commission and Court proceedings

  • Manage matters independently and support the development of junior team members

About You

You will ideally bring:

  • 4-10+ years’ post-qualification experience in employment law, industrial relations, and/or work health and safety, gained in a top-tier private practice, government, or in-house legal team

  • Strong academic credentials and excellent communication and teamwork skills

  • Experience providing strategic, solutions-focused advice to corporate clients

  • A commitment to excellence and a genuine interest in contributing to team success and mentoring junior lawyers

  • A proactive and collaborative mindset, with a drive to grow a market-leading practice
