Overview
A leading national law firm is seeking a dynamic and experienced Legal Project Manager to join its Legal Project Management (LPM) team based in Perth. This is a rare opportunity to work within a high-performing environment that blends legal expertise with strategic project delivery, supporting both internal legal teams and external clients.
This permanent, full-time position offers a hybrid working model, with flexibility available to suit individual needs. The successful candidate will play a key role in enhancing legal service delivery through project management, process improvement, and technology integration.
Key responsibilities
- Designing and delivering LPM training programs for internal teams and select clients.
- Providing hands-on project management support or strategic advice across all phases of legal matters.
- Consulting with legal teams to identify and embed process improvements.
- Implementing technology solutions to streamline legal project workflows.
- Supporting pricing and LPM initiatives across practice groups.
About you
- A strong interest in legal project management and continuous improvement.
- Solid understanding of legal processes, ideally gained through practice as a lawyer (preferably with litigation experience at senior associate level) or through high-level corporate services in a mid or top-tier firm.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate across teams and levels.
- Exceptional time management and the ability to work under pressure.
- A proactive mindset and a desire to contribute to national strategic projects.
- A law degree or equivalent, with experience in legal project management highly is regarded.
