Overview
A leading national law firm is seeking a dynamic and experienced Legal Project Manager to join its Legal Project Management (LPM) team based in Perth. This is a rare opportunity to work within a high-performing environment that blends legal expertise with strategic project delivery, supporting both internal legal teams and external clients.

This permanent, full-time position offers a hybrid working model, with flexibility available to suit individual needs. The successful candidate will play a key role in enhancing legal service delivery through project management, process improvement, and technology integration.

Key responsibilities

  • Designing and delivering LPM training programs for internal teams and select clients.
  • Providing hands-on project management support or strategic advice across all phases of legal matters.
  • Consulting with legal teams to identify and embed process improvements.
  • Implementing technology solutions to streamline legal project workflows.
  • Supporting pricing and LPM initiatives across practice groups.

About you
  • A strong interest in legal project management and continuous improvement.
  • Solid understanding of legal processes, ideally gained through practice as a lawyer (preferably with litigation experience at senior associate level) or through high-level corporate services in a mid or top-tier firm.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate across teams and levels.
  • Exceptional time management and the ability to work under pressure.
  • A proactive mindset and a desire to contribute to national strategic projects.
  • A law degree or equivalent, with experience in legal project management highly is regarded.
