We’re working with a highly regarded commercial law practice who are looking to grow their litigation team.
The role suits a lawyer with at least 3 years’ post-admission experience but they would look at anyone up to Senior Associate level. It is essential that you have experience running matters from start to finish, albeit there is a strong senior practitioner staff and leadership to guide and support where matters are complex.
This sums up why this is such an interesting role as you will have the autonomy to run your matters whilst being able to learn from and collaborate with reputable and experienced practitioners. You will also be presented with a pathway through the practice, whether your aim is Special Counsel or Partner there is opportunity to thrive.
What they’re looking for:
- Strong drafting and communication skills
- Experience in litigation across a broad range of jurisdictions
- Lead and manage complex matters, from inception to resolution, ensuring timely and effective delivery of legal services.
- Provide strategic legal advice to clients on a wide range of dispute resolution issues. Commercially-minded, plain-language approach
- Draft and review pleadings, submissions, and other legal documents.
- Represent clients in hearings, mediations, and arbitration proceedings.
- Manage client relationships and work collaboratively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Mentor and supervise junior lawyers, fostering a supportive and collaborative team environment (depending on level)
- Contribute to business development efforts and build your own network of clients (depending on level).
